Wison (Nantong) Heavy Industry Co. Ltd. (“Wison”) signed an MOU with Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (“NNPC”) at COP28 in Dubai for the development of floating LNG project in Nigeria.

The Floating LNG MOU was signed by Mr. Olalekan Ogunleye, the Executive Vice President, Gas, Power & New Energy, and Mr. Xu Kai, representative from Wison. Both parties agreed to work together to chart a roadmap for the project development that will lead to an investment decision.

The EVP Gas, Power & New Energy, Mr. Olalekan Ogunleye stated that NNPC is committed to delivering gas to industries nationwide and accelerating the company’s gas commercialization efforts through the floating LNG Project.

Mr. Xu Kai said that Wison has rich experience of FLNG delivery and will be willing to work together with NNPC to develop the FLNG in a time efficient manner. Wison is looking forward to moving soon for the next stage.
