Wison New Energies Showcases at 2025 Qidong Offshore Industry Investment Conference

March 19-20, 2025 - Qidong, China - The "2025 Qidong Offshore Industry Development & Investment Conference and FPSO/FLNG & Modularization Forum", hosted by the People's Government of Qidong City, Jiangsu Province, was successfully held in Qidong. Mr. Liu Hongjun, Chairman of Wison New Energies ("WNE"), and Mr. Zhu Shengrong, Vice President of Wison New Energies, were invited to attend, joining nearly 300 representatives from government, industry, and academic experts to explore new pathways for high-quality development in Qidong's marine economy.

As a key corporate representative, Mr. Liu Hongjun joined government officials and industry representative at the opening ceremony to unveil the "Yangtze River Estuary Offshore Oil & Gas Equipment Base". This strategic initiative aims to propel the transformation of Lusi Port into a specialized, digitized, and green low-carbon hub, creating a "Silicon Valley effect" for China's offshore industrial ecosystem.

 

"Qidong's golden geographical position – bridging river, sea, and Shanghai – combined with Lusi Port's deep-water harbor resources, provides Wison with a strategic stronghold," stated Mr. Liu. "Upon completion, Wison’s Qidong Yard will synergize with our Shanghai headquarters and Nantong Yard, enhancing our full-chain capabilities in the clean energy sector while accelerating regional industrial cluster upgrades."

During the technical forum on the second day, Mr. Zhu Shengrong provided an in-depth overview of the WNE Qidong Yard's production capacity planning and manufacturing layout. By showcasing WNE's international benchmark projects including the Eni FLNG project and Genting FLNG project, he mapped Wison's innovation strategy in high-end offshore & marine equipment engineering.

The conference marks a new chapter of high-quality development for Qidong's offshore industry. As a key participant, Wison New Energies remains committed to leveraging technological innovation to co-create a maritime-powered future, delivering efficient, flexible, and low-carbon Chinese solutions for the global energy transition.
