On February 22, 2023, a delegation from Baker Hughes, an energy technology company that provides solutions to energy and industrial customers worldwide, led by Mr. Yang Cao, Vice President China at Baker Hughes, visited Wison Offshore & Marine Limited (“WOM”) and met Mr. Bangsong Hua, CEO of WOM, Mr. Wenxin An, Senior Vice President. Heads of WOM’s departments also attended this meeting for friendly exchange.

The visit provided an opportunity for the two companies to share views and insights, also in light of the recent orders that WOM awarded to Baker Hughes for two LNG projects recently.

Most recently, Baker Hughes received a contract in February 2023 to support WOM’s four liquefaction modules with components, including four 54MW 2-pole Fixed Speed Electric Motor driving Compressors. This scope is for an undisclosed onshore LNG plant, which has 4 trains, each with a capacity of over 1.1MTPA. Also, at the end of 2022, WOM awarded Baker Hughes another contract to support a 2.4MTPA FLNG project.

Mr. Bangsong Hua, CEO of WOM noted: "No matter whether it is for FLNG or onshore LNG plant, compressor and electric motor are the core parts of natural gas liquefaction solutions.
