On June 26–27, the 26th Offshore China (Shenzhen) Convention & Exhibition was held in Shenzhen, themed “Explore the Deepwater and Push Forward Energy Transition: Developing New Quality Productive Forces of Offshore Oil and Gas”. Gathering over 600 global leaders and emerging voices from the industry, the event served as a platform to explore frontier trends and technological innovation. Paul Tan, General Manager of Wison New Energies FPSO Product Center, and Ran Pu, Technical Expert of Wison New Energies, were invited to deliver keynote speeches, sharing the company’s latest technological breakthroughs and strategic roadmap in the decarbonization and digitalization of floating production facilities.
On the opening day, Paul Tan delivered a keynote titled “Towards a cleaner future: Wison's FPSO development”, where he systematically outlined the company’s R&D achievements and practical implementations of low-carbon, high-efficiency FPSO solutions. Through innovations such as combined cycle gas turbine module (CCGT), Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS), and CO2 reinjection, Wison New Energies is actively accelerating the decarbonization of FPSO — a critical step toward realizing the corporate vision of becoming the global solution provider for clean energies.
The next day, Ran Pu, technical expert of Wison New Energies, joined forces with the technology company Baker Hughes in a joint presentation that highlighted a major milestone in the development of Wison Generation 2 e-Drive FLNG. The collaboration is advancing the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) through rigorous qualification processes, aiming to ensure the technology’s reliability and safety, and laying a solid foundation for the future development of e-FLNG projects.
Looking ahead, Wison New Energies remains steadfast in its innovation-led strategy. By increasing investment in R&D and deepening global partnerships, the company aims to contribute meaningful solutions to drive the offshore oil and gas industry towards a greener, low-carbon, and more sustainable future.
