Biodiversity conservation is a vital aspect of corporate sustainable development and a key part of fulfilling ecological and social responsibilities. On the occasion of the International Biological Diversity Day, Wison New Energies innovatively organized a thematic workshop on biodiversity. Blending professional discussions with immersive interactive experiences, the session guided employees to re-examine the relationship between humanity and nature from a business perspective, exploring pathways for corporate operations to coexist in harmony with nature.

The workshop kicked off with a "Quality & Safety Moment" case study shared by the QHSE Department. By reviewing real-world cases of ecological risks and related public opinion incidents, the team gained a profound understanding of the importance of environmental risk management. Ecological safety, operational safety, and brand development are inextricably linked. Therefore, enterprises must proactively identify ecological risks, strictly adhere to environmental baselines, and embed ecological protection principles into the entire production and operational process.
The workshop innovatively introduced an original eco-friendly board game, the Eco Traveler, seamlessly blending professional knowledge with immersive interaction. Employees transformed into "Friends of the Earth," teaming up with their "Nature Allies" to embark on an adventure across a simulated map of China's five major national parks and sustainable festivals. The game cleverly integrates the UN SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and the TNFD (Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures) framework. By simulating "Planetary Boundaries" challenges and responses to "ecological risks," the game helped employees intuitively grasp the core concepts of genetic, species, and ecosystem diversity. This approach effectively broke down cognitive barriers and sparked an intrinsic motivation among all staff to proactively protect biodiversity.

Turning Knowledge into Action. During the discussion on "52 Eco-friendly Actions for Businesses," participants translated their insights into a practical guide for action. The proposals ranged from the strategic level, such as launching a nature-positive strategy and establishing a special fund for nature transition, to production measures like implementing cleaner production and building industrial ecological wetlands, and even to office details like applying bird-safe stickers to windows and purchasing native plants. Each proposal fully demonstrated the employees' awareness and commitment to putting green concepts into practice and implementing ecological protection.

The end of this workshop is not just the "Sustainable New World" on the game board, but the green future we envision together. Moving forward, Wison New Energies will remain committed to its passion and original mission for ecological protection. We will build a company-wide ecological consensus through regular training and safeguard biodiversity with meticulous implementation. By ensuring corporate growth goes hand in hand with nature, we will continue to write Wison New Energies' own chapter of green success.
