Wison New Energies recently held the 15M Manhours LTI Free Milestone Ceremony for the Genting floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) project. The milestone underscores the robustness of the project’s safety management system, as well as Wison’s proven strength in safety control and coordinated execution on complex offshore projects. Mr. Chia Yu Chau, Executive Vice President – Oil & Gas, Genting Group, Mr. An Wenxin, Senior Vice President of Wison New Energies, and other representatives attended the ceremony.

FLNG facilities feature highly integrated systems and complex construction and commissioning requirements. The Genting FLNG Project is now in the final stages of construction, with commissioning and gas trials progressing steadily. Integrated system commissioning places heightened demands on site coordination and risk control. Achieving 15 million manhours LTI-free reflects Wison’s consistent implementation of safety requirements across all work activities, providing a solid foundation for the next stages of project execution.

As Indonesia’s first FLNG facility, the Genting FLNG has a design liquefaction capacity of 1.2 MTPA. Once operational, it is expected to bring positive momentum to regional energy supply and the global LNG market. Strong safety performance underpins Wison’s ability to sustain client trust and deliver international projects to high standards, while giving the company the confidence to support the global energy transition through reliable project delivery.
